J will start drivers ed in the spring. Where did the years go! Anyway, P ordered a CD from AAA called "Drivers Zed" for J to complete. Very neat experience. J spent some time working on the CD today.

Historical Maps Class - COLONIALISM AND MAPS
Use European maps from before the American Revolution to show how Europeans saw the world and its inhabitants. By highlighting images of people, symbols, resources and tools, this activity asks "Why did Europeans think colonialism was morally justified? Why did they want to colonize? How were they able to colonize so many parts of the world? Use John Foster's 1677 Map of New England to illustrate a specific consequence of colonialism, King Philip's War.

J spent time working on research and design for his OM balsa wood class.
Thursday (10/27)
Co-op day! This was a special day as the OM classes made presentations to the rest of the students. It was the final day of the first session.
Friday (10/28)
J and P went hunting up in the Bangor area. J was so excited. The first part of the day was spent on education and target shooting. Then they ventured into the woods. No luck getting anything but had a lot of fun.
